4. Sr. Java Developer (JOB ID - TKL 01392)

Job Summary

The Senior Java developer will participate in the definition of project scopes, objectives, and other phases of online project planning and interactive information delivery systems; interpret business requirements when developing content/applications; write custom reports, custom data export and import requests, adding new features, debugging error conditions, managing deployments, and configurations; adhere to technical policies and procedures for all Embarc projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

	Design, write, and develop Java applications within an aggressive timeframe.
	Assist in debugging applications; develop test procedures and test scenarios.
	Work with other developers and support maintenance clients as needed.
	Prepare documentation in the planning stages of software development.
	Assist sales staff in scoping exercises and provides technical representation at prospect and client meetings.
	Write detailed functional specification documents that define functionality and scope of work to be done.
	Work and communicate closely with the product manager to achieve project goals

Qualifications -- Education and/or Experience:

	Two to five years of experience.
	Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred.
	Well versed in the following technologies: Java, ASP, JavaScript, HTML, MySQL, SQL Server, Tomcat, IIS, Apache2.
	Must have proven experience in developing Windows and/or Mac OS X applications.
